For this self portrait I had several downs. This picture had the most difficulties with me. At first I wanted this picture to capture a raw picture of me being created. I spent the most time on this picture because of layering, and trying to size it correctly because I wanted the picture to be my poster. In the end, I ended up restarting and doing the picture all over again. I like how the end result turned out. The picture's inspiration came from the universe. I chose it because the universe is always being created with galaxies and universes being stretched out, that's why I chose the sky galaxy background. The white paint is me being in it's raw state. Blank. Fresh. Untouched. A blank canvas. Maritza's hand painting on me represents me being woken up to be created.
